Thoughts are just sounds or
images, not separate things, therefore they have not substance of their
own. In fact, they have as much substance as we give them. When one
opens to this seeing it leaves you as this ever quiet presence which
it’s unconditionally allowing the experiencing of thoughts.
Laura, you facilitated my experience of this that you are writing about when I met you last May. I remained immersed in that experience for quite some time. What catches me is a strong habit, a sort of quick automatic response which is trying to fix or eliminate the uncomfortable thoughts and feelings. Reading your post makes me aware of this agenda. Then I want to fix that...and I hear you asking me "can you welcome this wanting to fix that?". I just want to thank you for your past help and this renewed reminder. Love and kind regards to you and Francis, Sally from Wisconsin
